Opening a Company in Turkey is a Rising Trend
Trade Minister of Turkey Ruhsar Pekcan shared the statistics regarding the number of companies opened in Turkey by foreigner shareholders based on their nationalities. There is a dramatic increase on such statistic as a result of the advantages of opening a company in Turkey.
The number of companies established in Turkey by the Saudi citizens increased by 52 times.
Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan stated that the number of companies in Turkey opened by Saudi citizens in 2002 were two, this number has been increased to 424 in 2019.
In order to answer the opposition party CHP’s question, Trade Minister Pekcan declared that the number of Qatari citizens opened a company in Turkey were two as well in 2002, now this number increased to 183 during this period.
According to the news of Birgün newspaper, Kuwait citizens are interested in to open a company in Turkey as well. The statists reveal that the number of companies opened in Turkey by Kuwaitis were 10 until 2002. By 2019 this number increased to 376.
The other nationality which finds attractive to open a company in Turkey is Afghanistan. While 23 Afghan were shareholder to companies in Turkey until 2002, now this number increased to 692. The immigrations from Aghanistan to Turkey played an important role regarding the statistics “number of foreigners opening a company in Turkey.
In 2002 only one single company had been opened by a Bangladeshi citizen in Turkey, however now its 52.
The citizens of rising economy UAE had opened 18 companies in Turkey until 2002, now its 275.
